Holiday hugs to one and all,
Sister Cat
- Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish, set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, milk and butter. Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Stir in the marshmallow creme and peanut butter. Gradually stir in the flour. Spread into the prepared pan and let cool.
Makes 3 3/4 pounds of the best darn peanut butter fudge I’ve ever eaten.
Someone much wiser than I am once said that the biggest word in the dictionary is the word "if". We can torture ourselves with those optimized alternate universe scenarios of "if".
In our saner moments, we live a balance of kindness and courage, we forgive ourselves and others, and actually enjoy moments of serenity. Like they say, "One day at a time."
May you be blessed in the divine gift of today,
Sister Cat
"Ride, baby!"
Yeah, we’re ridin’ the Jazz and Blues train;
listenin’ to Lady Day, Robert Johnson and Coltrane,
and we ain’t steppin’ off till the final refrain,
so ride, baby, ride that train!
Sweet, smooth ride and growlin’, grindin’ ride!
Honk that horn and stride piano, stride!
Broken stride and ride Monk, ride!
Hang on, baby, cause we’re gonna ride!
Always dreaming of that perfect Jazz and Blues club,
Sister Cat
PS Hope you enjoy my Jazz and Blues tribute image, "Cotton Club Diva". I’m working on a second version that includes a period microphone. It’s giving me fits!
The original size and resolution version of the image is perfect to use as a PC desktop background. If you’d like to have one, just send me an E-Mail with "Diva" in the subject line, and you’ll get your very own divalicious "Cotton Club Diva". E-Mail: salon_azul@hotmail.com
